Price, market cap and supply
Source: CoinGecko (XDC listed as xdce-crowd-sale). We fetch price, market cap, volume, rank and supply every five minutes and keep our own price history: CoinGecko data for the last year and KuCoin XDC/USDT daily closes for earlier years. Charts are drawn from that history. Prices in other currencies refresh every hour.
Circulating supply differs between trackers because they treat locked tokens differently. We use CoinGecko throughout and say so next to each number.
XDC burned
Since the Cancun upgrade (block 98,800,200, January 2026), each block's base fee is burned. We read the base fee and gas used of every block from public XDC nodes and add up base fee × gas used. The burn figures appear only once every block since the upgrade has been counted, so totals are never partial.
Check: for block 107,950,000 our calculation gives 0.0021587625 XDC, the same as the “Burnt Fees” on XDCScan.
Network status
Block height, block time, observed transactions per second and base fee are read every minute from public XDC RPC nodes, using the latest 30 blocks. If one node fails we use the next.
DeFi and stablecoins
Total value locked and stablecoin supply on XDC come from DefiLlama and refresh hourly.
Staking and masternode rates
Core validator rate: derived from the official figures on xinfin.org (108 core validators sharing 6,000 XDC per 900-block epoch, at least 10 million XDC staked each) and today's block time.
Protector and observer rates: community estimates from the XDC 2.0 staking rewards guide on xdc.dev, labelled as estimates. We review all rates monthly and show the date of the last check under each calculator. Providers and exchanges set their own rates.
Fear & Greed
The Crypto Fear & Greed index comes from alternative.me. It measures sentiment across the whole crypto market, not XDC alone.
When a source fails
We never replace a missing number with zero or a guess. Every live figure keeps its last good value, and its source line turns orange and says “delayed” with the time of the last update. Found a problem? Tell us.
