Why XDC addresses start with xdc instead of 0x
An XDC address is a 20-byte account identifier, the same kind Ethereum uses. XDC tools traditionally show it with an xdc prefix; Ethereum tools such as MetaMask show it with 0x. The 40 characters after the prefix are identical, so both forms point to the same account.
If an app rejects an address, try the other prefix. Always check all 40 characters, not just the start and end. Details: XDC docs, wallet configuration.
