How to choose an XDC wallet

Hardware wallet

Ledger, Trezor, Tangem and others suit larger amounts. Your keys stay on a device that never touches the internet.

Browser extension

MetaMask and Rabby let you use XDC apps on your computer.

Mobile wallet

For everyday sending and receiving.

Institutional custody

For businesses and funds that need policies, approvals and insurance.

Wallets marked XDC-ready work with XDC without extra setup. Most others are Ethereum-style wallets that need the XDC network added first.

Using MetaMask, Rabby or Ledger with XDC

MetaMask, Rabby and other Ethereum-style wallets work with XDC once you add the network: chain ID 50, currency XDC. Use Add XDC to MetaMask to do it in one click.

A Ledger or Trezor device can sign XDC transactions through a browser wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby: connect the device to the browser wallet, then add the XDC network as above.

How to set up an XDC wallet safely

  • Download wallets only from the links above or the app's official website.
  • Write your recovery phrase on paper and keep it offline. Never type it into a website, and never share it with anyone.
  • XDC addresses may start with xdc or 0x; both are the same account.
  • Send a small test amount before moving larger sums.
